Nonlinear CrystalThe nonlinear optical(NLO) crystals are used in frequency conversion for lasers.

Laser CrystalLasercrystals are used to generate laser radiations. The commonly used laser crystals include Nd:YAG,Nd:YVO4 and Nd:YLF for near IR lasers, and Ti:Sapphirefor tunable near IR output. Specifically, Nd:YVO4,for diode pumped solid state lasers were developedbecause diode pumping attracts more and more interestof both R&D and OEM customers.

AO & EO CrystalA piezoelectric transduceris bonded to an anisotropic medium. When an electricalsignal is applied to this transducer to generateultrasonic waves which are propagated through themedium, a three dimensional grating was formed byvirtue of refractive index variation associatedwith the traveling acoustic wave. The incident beampassing through the medium will be coupled intoseveral symmetrical diffraction orders, just asin a two-dimensional diffraction grating. There are two kinds of E-O modulations. One is longitudinalE-O modulation if the directions of electric fieldand light propagation are the same. The KDP isomorphiccrystals are normally used in this scheme. If thedirections of electric field and light propagationare perpendicular, it is called transverse E-O modulation. The LiNbO3, MgO:LiNbO3, ZnO:LiNbO3, BBO and KTPcrystals are usually employed in this scheme.

Optical CrystalOptical crystals &glass, such as Quartz, YVO4, Calcite, a-BBO, LiNbO3,Undoped YAG, Sapphire, Spinel, CaF2, MgF2, Ge, Si,GaAs, BaF2, LiF, Quartz, BK7, ZnSe, ZnS, UV GradeFused Silica, etc. are widely used in IR opticsand UV optics. Laser Century manufactures high transparencyand low loss optical windows, prisms, lenses, achromaticlenses and parallel planes by these optical materials.

These HGTR KTP crystals are suitable for high power density applications, where regular flux-grown KTP crystals will suffer from gray track damage.

● SKTP for SHG

● BBO (Beta Barium Borate, β-barium borate or β-BaB2O4)

BBO phase matches over a wide spectral range, yielding SHG, 3rd, 4th and 5th generation from 190 up to 1780 nm.
OPOs and OPAs based on BBO crystals are powerful tools for generating a widely tunable coherent radiation from the UV to IR.

● SHG (Second Harmonic Generation) BBO
● THG (Third Harmonic Generation) BBO
● FHG (Fourth Harmonic Generation) BBO
● BBO OPO (optical parametric oscillator)
● Complete BBO Electro Optical Cells

It may be used for SLAB cavity or multi-channels modulations. Due to the unique design, higher average power density can be allowed, as well as elliptical beam or two round beams.
RTP (Rubidium Titanyl Phosphate) is a robust electro‐optic crystal suitable for a wide variety of applications (such as Q‐Switches, Amplitude & Phase Modulators, Pulse Pickers, etc.) and operation in industrial, medical, and defense products.

● RTP EO Devices
● RTP for Electro-Optics (EO)

KTP (Potassium Titanyl Phosphate, KTiOPO4) is a nonlinear optical material generally used for doubling of solid-state lasers, such as Nd:YAG.

● Single KTP Element
● SHG (Second Harmonic Generation) KTP
● KTP OPO (optical parametric oscillator)

Super Polished LBO (Lithium triborate or LiB3O5) is a nonlinear crystal that offers several unique and very important characteristics
