Hybrid VOAs
Variable Add/Drop Module (VADM)
Variable Add/Drop Module (VADM) is a combination of an optical add/drop module (OADM) and an EclipseTM high speed VOA. It provides the optical power control ability to an added or dropped wavelength channel and can be used in Variable Multiplexer (VMUX) or Variable DeMultiplexer (VDEMUX). It features excellent optical characteristics, including low insertion loss, high channel isolation and high speed power adjustment.
Directional VOA (DVOA)
BATI DVOA provides an added optical isolation function to the Eclipse VOA. In addition to the high speed optical power control, the DVOA also has up to 40dB isolation to the backward signals.
SutterVOA
ShutterVOA integrated an on/off shutter into an Eclipse VOA, which provides high speed optical attenuation up to 30 dB and a total light shut-off as demanded.
